Nice Update, i see the drone has upgrades now, however it still says all max even though i can buy upgrades.

also, buttons aren't clickable on their full size, only in the middle

If i can reccomend a quick Quality of life change is to deselect items by clicking on another part of the screen

thank you Mecryo,

one option is to click on the cam up  or  cam down icon to deselect ...

but yes, i is a good point i will implement it :)

I really like this, this could become something great.

The drone stops picking up the colors after a while, not sure if that's an intended, unfinished feature, or a bug.

hey foxi,

thank you for this feedback ...

hmmm ... is the drone start working when you restart ( save before ;) )

i can not reproduce the bug ... yes ... it is a bug :/

i have reproduced the bug and implement a fix ( hopefully )

Honestly rather cute, although it'd be nice if the music looped occasionally!
I'd also agree that it'd be nice to have some "manual" starts, but that's a stylistic choice, I suppose

I'd love to see the stats of things I've maxed out, rather than hiding them once I can't upgrade them, and I had a bug where the worker was just pushing the dye blob around rather than absorbing it, although eventually it got lucky and managed to absorb it!

EDIT: I'd also suggest making the workers clip through the globs, just so they don't push theirs or the others, production will randomly be far slower because one worker shoved another worker's glob way far away!

I also rather enjoyed the rooms, I figure I should mention the things I enjoyed, too, even though they don't need action!

hey, thank you very much for your feedback ! it helps realy to make the 'game' better :)

- music loops or you can switch to next track in the menu

- stats shown when maxed out is in work :)

Pretty cool, I like the 3D environments, machine animations, and goofy voicelines for the workers. Some parts are a bit too abstract, like when I get coins for putting cubes into the extraction machine it doesn't make much sense. The game would be easier to parse with some intermediate stages. Start with only cubes and a worker, allow to sell the cubes for coins, then buy a machine with coins and sell the paint for more coins, and so on.

Personally I thought it was kinda fun to figure out what was going on in the factory and how it worked, but simultaneously frustrated because there wasn't much to do for the first minute. Introducing the game in stages instead of everything at once would also solve this issue. Then show the full factory in the main menu so the player can anticipate how much there is to do.

Some direct use for paint as an intermediate resource would be nice, I don't know how though. Maybe spend paint to upgrade the drone later on.

Add a short intro explaining that you're making a cube painting factory, so the player knows painting cubes is the end goal. To add to this, I liked the painted cubes, not so much the cube being slurped up and put into a generic capsule in liquid form. I just had a liquid to paint the cube, why does the cube go back to a liquid? It would be more satisfying if the painted cube gets dropped into a delivery truck for instance. Or even better, in a stockpile where the player can choose to spend the cubes as currency or sell them for coins (more choice, more gameplay).

Adding some particle effects and sounds to the different processes would also do a lot. And personally I'd like to zoom out to see the whole factory. Great prototype so far, I hope this feedback helps and you can find inspiration to add more features.

hey, thank you very much for your feedback ... a lot of very good ideas i will think about to realize them into the game :)

two things I think is important

during upgrades you can see the stats of the thing you are upgrading and what the future stats would be after the upgrade.

hey Pizzatime1,

it is a good point !

thank you
